Laborers International Union of North America!

Vote June 5! You hear every election, that this is the most important election. If you belong to a union you should know already that this will be an election that will be remebered for generations. If you have been paying attention, you should already know that the Right has targeted this state for Right to Work legislation. Not a new topic but one that hasn't had much support in this state until recently. Most of us in the office spent numerous day and nights marching around the capital in solidarity of our public sector brothers and sisters. We knew then that Divide and Conquer was their strategy. We marched along side many union Laborers and non-union Laborers. I was suprised at how many non-union folks realized how much working conditions and wages would suffer if we went to a right to work state. I hope your union brothers and sisters realize how much our union would suffer if the Right had their way and made this a Right to Work state. There is not a lot of time left before June 5 but there is still enough time to make a difference. Volunteer If you can. Bring as many people to the polls if you can. Talk about the election and its impact on us to your family and co-workers. If all else fails we can still make our union stronger but we need your help. In Solidarity Nick Henke, Organizer Wisconsin Laborers
